My go-to favorite in Great Falls. Yummy, saucy, comfort food. I enjoy the large portions and usually have leftovers. The chips and salsa is also delish! The service is good too. Dishes usually come with cheeses, veggie garnish, and sauces on them, and possible sour cream and guacamole, SO talk to your server before you order if you have an allergy or dislike. Besides all the shredded chicken dishes, I also really like their skirt steak burrito. My boyfriend always gets the chicken in the creamy Parmesan sauce, pollo al la creme I think? When my boyfriend and I do not want leftovers, we easily share one entree. MOST IMPORTANT FOR ME- Fiesta En Jalisco has great quality meat. I never feel like I have to cautiously eat my meal while looking for animal product I don't want to munch on. I am very picky about meat quality when it comes to Mexican food. Having grown up in California, I've had all types of Mexican food and I personally prefer the places that do not serve meat with gristle or fat. Most dishes I have tried have rice and refried beans. I think you can get whole beans upon request. They are kid and family friendly and the prices are not too expensive. They also have some "American" food on the menu for the picky eaters or party poopers who don't feel like Mexican when you do.

After riding all day from Kalispell, we were in the mood for Mexican (yes, understand we're in western Montana). I turned to fellow Yelpers for guidance and it appeared this was the best (the selections were thin) of local (I can go to a chain restaurant at home). Unfortunately this was a bust from the word go. The wait staff was extremely put out that we didn't want to sit in a booth that had blazing sun shining into it and this set the pace. Service was slow and poor with an attitude. The basket of chips was over half filled with crumbs with a few whole chips on top. The salsa is homemade and extremely thin and watery. The margarita came with many black foreign objects that were contaminating the drink. The wait staff didn't give two hoots, but did replace the drink. The meal (chili verde) was supposed to have come with tortillas but the wait staff never said and I had to ask. Oh of course, the I don't give a hoot attitude from her. Extremely poor. If this is where you want to spend your money, that would be a serious mistake. Unfortunately we were stuck and the best part is that I'll never be back. Extremely poor service!!!

Another excellent meal! In town or out of town don't miss this one for the best authentic Mexican food in Great Falls. Excellent service excellent atmosphere. In the same parking lot as the mall at holiday big village.

Worst service I have ever received. Actually was told by the "manager" we were lucky to be served at all do to them being short staffed. Even worse the food wasn't worth the price.

They've never let me down in the past; always a good meal. Margaritas aok as well. This is my "go to" place when it's time for Mexican.

Typical Mexican fare, great thin homemade salsa with fresh ingredients, different and perfect picante. Our group had chille rellenos, verde burrito with pork, tortilla soup, flautas, carnitas and more. Nothing was bad, all average or better, service friendly. Pollo mole was superior for mole fans. This place was about half filled for lunch and most seemed like repeat customers who know a good place.

Eaten here 5 times and the food has always been basically good -- but not remarkable. Nothing to get overly excited about. Their concept of a margarita is ice, a glass full of cheap bottled margarita mix and possibly a splash (hint) of tequila. In other words, their Margs are a failure. We sent ours back twice and finally gave up on enjoying margaritas with our dinner. Their salsa is tasty and chips are good and not too salty. Service was just ok. Total experience is very average. Since they don't seem to be able to make a real margarita, we decided that after 5 visits, this place isn't worth any additional expenditures of our time and money.

I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! Hands down and with no exceptions the BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN! If you haven't gone here, you need to. I've gone over a handful of times and unfailingly they bring out the freshest and biggest tastiest portions money can buy. And honestly THEIR PRICES ARE VERY FAIR. The waitresses are so sweet and always making sure we are happy with our meals. But not that annoying kind where it seems like they are trying to get you out so another party can come in. You need to try this place today! You won't regret it, I didn't

First, it's Great Falls, and I don't live here. I do know, though, that not many great dining experiences exist... That being said, I'm in a different hotel this visit, and FEJ is close. It's your typical Mexican fare. Huge portions. Great salsa (not sure if it's homemade -- I forgot to ask). However, the refried beans are from a can (the soupy kind) and the rice is yellow and dry. In fact, when I got my food, the sauces all had a film on top... probably because it had been sitting under the heat lamp too long. My service was good. The food was satisfactory.

The first thing I noticed about this restaurant was the outrageous prices. Standard fajitas were over $16, which I simply could not believe. In a small town in Montana, who would justify charging that much for Mexican food? Even combination platters were all 20% more than I'd expect to pay. I ordered Chile relleno and a tamale. When my food came out, the plate was hot and the food looked almost burnt on top, as if it had all been thrown in the oven together. I took two bites of my Chile relleno - it was soggy and bland. I asked the waiter why it was soggy and he said that "was how they cooked it there". So that tells me that they do not know how to properly cook Chile relleno? The tamale was even worse: flavorless overcooked beef, slimy and gummy corn. I have made better tamales at home that came from my freezer and I heated in the microwave. I sent my food back, as it was clearly inedible. I asked for a taco salad, thinking cold food might be the safer choice. My dining companion ordered the same thing, and she asked that she could get "avocado instead of sour cream", so I asked if I could do the same. The taco salad was mediocre, but reasonable, and better priced. Except when the check came, we were both charged $1.25 each for avocado. I asked why I was being charged, when we had clearly said we wanted our avocado INSTEAD of sour cream, and our waiter said that avocado was a side we had to pay for. We were never told that when we ordered the avocado to begin with. We made clear to him that we had NOT expected to pay for our avocado, and it was only about four meager slices of avocado anyway, but he simply said "that's not how we do things." What happened to the customer being right?! I will never eat at this restaurant again, and I hope people honestly demand that Fiesta makes significant changes to their business practices in the near future.

My go to Mexican restaurant!! Great service and great food. You get a lot of food for the money. Highly recommended

Don't let the cars and filled booths fool you. You get exactly what the menu offers -- those aren't faded pictures. Unappealing to the eye and palette, and pricey. Service was fine, and the salsa ok, but not worth stopping for.

My son and I are in Great Falls for his hockey tournament. We decided to stop at one of the many, many Mexican restaurants so Without using YELP we drove here. We walked in to the smell of freshly made tortillas, which is a bit of a sour repugnant odor but at least it suggested they were fresh... The service was great. The friendly server was prompt and tried to be helpful with menu choices. We ended up on carne asada for me and a chicken quesadilla with side taco for my son. The asada was ok and I enjoyed the refried beans. The chicken taco was very good and so was the quesadilla but the quesadilla was so juicy/greasy it was extremely difficult to eat. Great concept for a Sloppy Joe but not so much for a quesadilla. The pico de gallo was spicy but kind of flavourless. The salsa was better. The chips were tasty and light. I'd go back but not this trip.

I like this place. I think it is the best Mexican food in town by far. The service is friendly and they are generous with the chips and salsa. It's not the best I have ever had but its the best Mexican in Great Falls .

Do not waste your time or money to go here. First of all the waitstaff/busser are very aloof and rude seem to not really care to answer any questions thoroughly or take your orders precisely then want to argue with you when you remind them that you did not want any sauce on anything. We ordered a beef n bean burrito in which I did not try but my daughter said it didnt taste very good and looked like one big sloppy mess. Carne Asada which was flank steak which had ok flavor but was well done in one area and med rare in another which was quite weird in itself. Also Chicken Taquitos that I asked to not have any sauce on it and the sour cream & guac on the side which came with sauce on it and no sour cream or quac anywhere. When I told the waiter he wanted to argue with me that I did not say no sauce and he had an arrogant pompous attitude to match his cold aloof appeal. So they were soggy so I asked for them to make it right and he had an attitude that he was perturbed that I even suggested it. When the other waitress brought the newly cooked taquitos they were so dripping in grease I could have oiled my car with them. So obvious the food here is not cooked with love as their version of refried beans tasted watered down and runny with absolutely no flavor. The rice was very bland and very dry as if it had been sitting on a hot line all day. The salsa verde blah tasted of pure lime no flavors to really pop out at you. The red salsa was ok, chips typical of any mexican restaurant. I can't believe I spent 37.00 dollars on food that I could easily make at home with the same amount of money and triple times better. I was just trying to take my girls out for a nice dinner and quickly found out that I will not be coming back here. To top it all off the waitstaff and hostesses stand at the counter like a bunch of giddy little kids who seem like they are more interested in their conversations than helping their customers. Over all if you are looking for good mexican food I advise to stay away from this establishment because it is obvious that they do not cook with love or flavor!

Maybe they were having an off day, we have eaten there a few times before and it was always pretty good. Wife and I decided to split the fiesta fajita plate which came with beef, chicken and shrimp. They brought this thing out which was piled high with onions and peppers but only enough of each meat for one very small taco of each, and very small pieces of meat. For $20 you should get more than 4 shrimp, and about 2 ounces each of beef and chicken. We have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants and ordered a lot of fajita plates and this was by far the worst we have ever had. The server could not believe how they skimped on the meat but she was not able to offer us any remedy because the manager was not in. It was a huge disappointment.

This is good Mexican food...and I have traveled in Mexico. I had chicken enchiladas and the food had a lot of taste and was a generous serving for a fair price. The Music is Mexican. The staff speak Spanish and English. This is not a Mexican wannabe. This is Mexican food prepared by Mexicans. While there are regional differences, and you may have preferences, this is a good choice. I would eat there again if I were in Great Falls.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
